FEES 2008/2009
Our fee structure is very simple as are the payment terms.
 A job seeker will NEVER be charged a fee by Sun Search Yachting. Our services to job seekers are FREE of charge.Sun Search Yachting is not an employer, our business is that of an Employment Agency to facilitate introductions between job seekers and clients seeking crew, for which we charge a fee to the Client.Sun Search Yachting gathers information from job seekers as to their qualifications and experience. Sun Search Yachting make every effort to check the truth of the claims that job seekers make but the Client has the final decision and responsibility in the choice of the applicant he employs.Sun Search Yachting Fees for 2008 / 2009 are as follows:
All permanent placements (i.e. contracts over 3 months) will be charged a fee of one month's gross salary. A minimum fee of €1000 will be chargedAll seasonal placements (i.e. contracts up to 3 months) will be charged a fee of 50% of one month's gross salary. A minimum fee of €500 will be chargedTemporary placements (i.e. contracts up to 30 days) will be charged a fee of 25% of the total salary paid. A minimum fee of €250 will be charged.A seasonal or temporary placement which becomes a permanent placement will incur further charges in line with the permanent placement fee less the fee already paid for the seasonal or temporary placement. All fees are subject to VAT (IVA) of 16% unless proof is received of Zero VAT rating. The provision of this fiscal evidence is the Clients responsibility. Payment of the fee to Sun Search Yachting is due on the day the crew member starts work.
Sun Search Yachting advertise, interview and process candidate's paperwork to offer a professional service. All work is done and costs incurred upfront and therefore our fee is due immediately the crew member starts. Payment may be made by credit transfer into the bank account of Sun Search or by credit card. You will be asked to indicate your preference on the initial booking form.
We prefer not to work with clients who have difficulty paying their bills or who enjoy delaying payment.
